£200,000 Added Prize Money!

The Champion of Champions tournament will be taking place again, but for 2011 we are changing the way this works. Instead of having to wait a full year to take part in the freeroll, winners will now have the opportunity to win big directly after the event. The winners of each competition (excluding Super Satellites) throughout the week of each GUKPT Main Event, Summer Series and 10% Series will be eligible to take part in an online Champion of Champions tournament held the following week to decide the champion for each event. Throughout the year this amounts to a staggering £100,000 in added value.

The GUKPT Rankings. The GUKPT leaderboard was already the richest poker rankings system in Europe and now boasts a total of £65,000 in prizes up for grabs at the end of the year. All GUKPT tournaments (excluding Super Satellites) carry rankings points and these are accumulated throughout the year. The player who earns the most points will be declared the 2011 GUKPT Player of the Year, pocketing a first prize of £26,000 of added value.

The Grosvenor Poker League.Take part in the Grosvenor Poker League simply by playing live tournaments in G and Grosvenor casinos and online in Grosvenor Poker League tournaments at G Casino Poker. Your accumulated live and online tournament results are combined into one league table. Each league offers a huge £25,000 in prizes and with four leagues throughout the year, totalling a massive £100,000 in added value to be won in the Grosvenor Poker League!

Shoal Survivor. New for 2011, players who qualify into GUKPT Main Events via online qualifiers or live satellites in casinos are automatically entered into Sharky's Shoal Survivor competition to be the last qualifier remaining in the tournament. The successful Shoal Survivor will win entry into GUKPT event/s up to the value of the tournament they qualified for. Click here for more info on how to qualify online.

Sharky's Giveaways. Two weeks prior to each event taking place, Sharky will be visiting the host club. Players will have the opportunity to play Heads Up against Sharky, for entry into various events during the GUKPT festival. Sharky will be giving away £1,500 (£2,000 for the Grand Final and £500 for the Summer Series) of added value on the day and everyone that plays the scheduled event on the day will also gain automatic entry into an online Super Satellite freeroll for the main event. This is an enormous £14,000 in giveaways.

A series of three mini-festivals taking place in two locations concurrently at opposite ends of the country between May and July.

Online 10% Series

Taking place the day after GUKPT Main Events finish, the online 10% Series tournaments are a tenth of the cost of the GUKPT Main Event that has just finished and provide a great value entry route to the Champion of Champions and invaluable GUKPT Rankings Points.
